Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute QA strategies, processes, and methodologies aligned with UKEF’s standards and policies.
Conduct thorough testing of software systems, processes, and financial products to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, analysts, business users) to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring their resolution in a timely manner.
Perform risk assessments to prioritize testing efforts and mitigate potential issues.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive QA reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Support the continuous improvement of QA frameworks, tools, and processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and technologies relevant to quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the financial or public sector.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Selenium, TestRail).
Understanding of compliance and risk management frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven experience in integration testing of data exchanges across systems
A strong background in testing data artefacts
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA credentials.
Knowledge of UK government processes and standards.
Familiarity with automation testing frameworks.
