We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Consultant to join our team in the Health sector, focusing on the NHS and NHS England (NHSE). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare technology and strategy, having held senior roles such as Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role will involve leading initiatives that enhance healthcare delivery, improve operational efficiencies, and drive innovation within the NHS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of consulting projects within the NHS, ensuring alignment with NHSE goals and healthcare best practices.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing strategic guidance on technology and operational improvements.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice on digital transformation, healthcare IT systems, and data management to enhance patient care and operational performance.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings in actionable reports.
  • Team Management: Mentor and lead a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with NHS organizations, governmental bodies, and other key stakeholders to drive successful project implementations and advocate for best practices.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on NHS regulations, technology trends, and industry standards, applying insights to inform consulting practices and client strategies.
  • Training and Workshops: Design and deliver training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing the digital capabilities of NHS staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (healthcare, business, IT, or related areas) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare consulting or management, with significant experience working within the NHS and NHSE.
  • Proven experience in a senior role such as CIO or CTO, with a strong understanding of healthcare technology and operational strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management within the NHS.
