Objective:-

An Oracle Finance Consultant is expected to understand the client’s business, various business processes, suggest the required improvements & then map the requirements into an Oracle System (i.e. EBS/Cloud solution architecture). The mapping should be in alignment with the customer’s business environment and its objectives. Apart from this, consultancy service should be provided around the gaps identified (if any).

Principal Accountabilities:-

  • Collect and analyse the business requirements of Oracle financial projects.
  • Prepare the documents with regards to the business requirements & other functional aspects.
  • Design, Develop, Test and Implement Oracle financials projects with minimal assistance.
  • Provide suggestions to customize the Oracle applications for optimal performance.
  • Identify the functional gaps and provide corrective actions.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the customer specifications.
  • Work with the documentation team to develop user guides and training materials.
  • Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional solutions on complex customer engagements.
  • Contribute to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design, flow mapping, etc.).
  • Provide Support for configurations, customizations, reports, interfaces, testing & user training.
  • Apply thought process on the ways to improve the existing processes.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the team management.
  • Should be open for Travel to onsite on Short/ Long term assignments. The role expects at least 70% travel in a year.
