Business System Analyst – Salesforce Health Cloud (Techno-Functional)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business System Analyst with deep expertise in

Salesforce Health Cloud to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, healthcare

operations, and technical delivery teams. This role requires strong healthcare domain

knowledge, hands-on Salesforce skills, and the ability to translate business needs into

scalable Health Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine requirements for

Health Cloud implementations (patient management, care coordination, referral

workflows, contact center operations).

• Translate healthcare workflows into Salesforce Health Cloud features such as Care

Plans, Care Teams, Appointment Management, and Householding.

• Collaborate with technical teams to define data models, APIs, integrations

(FHIR/HL7, EHR, claims systems), and security requirements.

• Author user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional

specifications for Salesforce Health Cloud projects.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis between out-of-the-box Health Cloud features and custom

requirements.

• Support system configuration (Flows, page layouts, validation rules) and perform

hands-on testing of delivered features.

• Drive UAT planning and execution, including test scenarios and defect triage with

business users.

• Ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance in all solution designs.

• Act as a liaison between business, product owners, architects, and developers,

ensuring requirements are met without compromising Salesforce best practices.

• Provide training, demos, and documentation for end users and internal teams.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of overall experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis, with at least

3 years in Salesforce Health Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations (care management, patient engagement,

provider workflows, contact center optimization).

• Hands-on Salesforce experience with Health Cloud data model, Flows,

reports/dashboards, and security model.

• Familiarity with integrations: FHIR/HL7 standards, EHR (Epic, Cerner), payer systems,

and external apps.

• Proficiency in writing user stories, functional specs, and process documentation.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery (backlog grooming, sprint planning, story

refinement).

• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate business

needs into Salesforce capabilities.

• Preferred Certifications:
