Cyber Remediation Lead

The Cyber Remediation Lead is accountable for the overall delivery and success of the Cyber Risk Remediation Service programme. Acting as the senior responsible leader, the role provides strategic direction, assurance, and leadership across all remediation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning end-to-end delivery of the Cyber Risk Remediation Service, ensuring outcomes align with NHS England strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing senior leadership and thought leadership across cyber remediation initiatives, setting clear direction, priorities, and success measures.
  • Leading senior and VIP stakeholder engagement across NHS England, sectors, and external partners to drive alignment, ownership, and timely decision-making.
  • Ensuring overall quality, coherence, and consistency of delivery, including governance, reporting, and assurance.
  • Overseeing risk identification, escalation, and reporting, providing clear visibility of cyber and technical debt risks and recommended mitigation actions.
  • Engaging with sector leads to transfer ownership of risk and continuity, supporting sustainable remediation and long-term resilience.
