Responsibilities

Project Coordination:
• Support project planning and tracking activities to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk registers.

Administrative Support:
• Organise and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items.
• Manage correspondence and ensure timely communication between project stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, financial policies, and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and other relevant guidelines.

Cost Modelling and Financial Analysis:
• Support the Zodiac Project and the wider Defence Digital portfolio with the creation, control, and management of cost modelling activities and artefacts required for projects.
• Develop and maintain cost estimation processes and financial information capture to build a full financial picture of the project.
• Assist in consolidating cost data and supporting the development of business cases, investment appraisals, and financial forecasts.
• Provide financial insight to support decision-making and ensure alignment with budgetary controls and project objectives.

Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track project progress and prepare regular status and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor financial risks, issues, and variances, escalating concerns as needed.

Resource Management:
• Support resource allocation and cost tracking to ensure accurate forecasting and budget control.
• Coordinate onboarding and provide financial induction support for new team members as appropriate.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as a central point of contact for project-related financial and cost modelling queries.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams, project managers, and external partners to maintain accurate and consistent cost information.

Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and recommend improvements to cost modelling and estimation processes.
• Support knowledge sharing and promote best practices in project financial management across the portfolio.
