  • Producing clear, consistent, and reusable models using recognised frameworks (e.g., MODAF, NAF, TOGAF).
  • Supporting the definition of end-to-end architectures by creating architecture views, catalogues, and diagrams.
  • Assisting Enterprise and Solution Architects in the assessment of supplier solutions against programme and enterprise standards.
  • Mapping business requirements to architectural models, ensuring traceability across programme deliverables.
  • Maintaining model repositories and ensuring consistency across architectural layers and suppliers.
  • Contributing to technical governance by providing up-to-date and accurate models for design authorities and review boards.
  • Supporting the development of roadmaps, technology options, and design decisions through high-quality modelling artefacts.
  • Ensuring all modelling outputs are compliant with the MOD Common Architecture Approach (CAA) and relevant JSPs.
  • Working with stakeholders to present models and explain complex architectures in a clear and accessible way.
  • Supporting the integration of supplier models into a coherent enterprise-wide architecture baseline.

Experience

  • Proven experience in architecture modelling in large-scale, high-security, or Defence/Government environments.
  • Strong knowledge of MODAF/NAF or similar frameworks and the production of standard views and artefacts.

  • Experience producing models across business, data, application, and technology domains.
  • Understanding of Defence enterprise approaches such as the MOD Common Architecture Approach (CAA).
  • Awareness of deployable and on-premise technologies in the Defence context.
