The Framework Engineering L3 Team provides enhanced engineering
support for the ITP portfolio in particular and HO in general. The services
offered by the Framework Engineering L3 team would be to enable work
streams to go faster, deliver cross cutting capability and to analyse and fix
strategic problems. Framework Engineering team also helps HO and ITP
achieve their goal (to decommission CID) faster and efficiently10 of those
common components are now in full Live support with the FE L3 team (one
was transitioned out to another team) and 5 others have since been added.

• Must have experience in working in a tiered system of remote IT
support or willing to work in IT support i.e. trouble shooting and
/ or triage experience skills
• The right to live and work in the UK, be a British national (ideally
not dual nationality), and SC cleared/eligible
Role Description
Mastek is set to deliver a high-profile programme for a central
government department. The programme represents the next generation
of the UKs biometric capability replacing and integrating with legacy
systems and other government departments.
You will be part of a Mastek team in a multi-vendor project with a shared
code base. As a Java L3 resource you will be responsible for triaging and
resoling production issues on priority and solving complex technical
support challenges, troubleshooting, debugging and relaying relevant
product issues and bugs to the delivery team.
The role requires in-depth understanding of the software development
lifecycle and strong technical experience with an open-minded attitude
and ability to rapidly adapt and learn.
Must have skills:
• Extensive server-side, hands-on Java 8+ development experience
with strong Spring, Spring Boot & Hibernate
• Strong understanding of Microservice architecture
• Experience building web services and APIs on REST
• Strong understanding of unit & integration tests, following TDD /
BDD
