The Product Management Lead will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the Product Management function within Mastek. You will be responsible for defining and implementing product strategies, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring our products meet client needs while aligning with business goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define the vision, goals, and roadmap for the Product Management function.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Product Management strategy aligned with the organisation’s business objectives.
  • Team Building and Development:
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Product Managers, cultivating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
    • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Product Development and Delivery:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify client and market needs, transforming them into product opportunities.
    • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and beyond.
    • Ensure delivery excellence through strong collaboration with engineering, design, and delivery teams.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring product strategies align with organisational priorities.
    • Engage with clients to understand their challenges and priorities, building long-term partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Establish and refine processes, tools, and frameworks to support scalable and repeatable product development practices.
    • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and team performance.

Key Skills and Experience:

    • Proven track record of success in senior Product Management roles, ideally within IT consultancy, technology, or related industries.
    • Demonstrated experience in building and scaling a Product Management function.
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring and growing high-performing teams.
    • Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong understanding of technology solutions, software development, and IT consultancy models.
    • Adept at translating complex client and market needs into actionable product strategies.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
