Job Description: Senior Automation Tester
Mastek is set to deliver a high-profile programme for a central government department. The programme represents the next generation of the UKs biometric capability replacing and integrating with legacy systems and other departments.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, helping to self-organise whilst creating a culture of learning and transparency using relevant agile / lean tools and techniques, removing blockers that might slow the pace of delivery. A unique development opportunity to work on a Public Sector Based Large Scale programme with an innovative market leader.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Tester with over 7 years of automation testing experience to join our dynamic team.
Skills required:
•
Experience in UI & API’s based testing (for API-RestAssured)
•
Experience in Automation tools sets Selenium along with Java (along with BDD-Cucumber based and Serinity framework)
•
Experience in CI/CD tools (Like Jenkins Or Concourse)
•
Strong experience in SQL database testing
•
Experience in Jira for defect logging, tracking, management
•
Experience of the setup of automated framework (e.g. creating test data, creating regression pack for different test environments)
•
Experience in Functional Testing
•
Experience in Agile Testing
•
Extensive experience and good understanding of structured test methods and processes
•
Extensive experience analysing requirements and design documentation
•
Experience executing tests analysis and documenting results
•
Hands on excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional skills:
•
Desirable to have experience in react.js
•
Desirable to have experience of Robot framework, Python
•
Understanding of Jmeter(for performance testing) and Accessibility testing will be add-on
Key Responsibilities:
•
Automation testing
•
Functional testing
•
Setup of automated framework (e.g. creating test data, creating regression pack for different test environments)
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and translate them into test scenarios.
•
Create and maintain regression test pack with a target to achieve >90% automation
•
Testing ensure high-quality code delivery.
•
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into our testing process.
