Job Title: Senior Technical Architect

Job Summary : The Senior Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing complex IT solutions that meet current and future business needs. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with architectural best practices and company goals. The Senior Technical Architect will serve as a technical leader, advisor, and mentor, driving the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of comprehensive technical solutions.
• Technical Strategy: Develop and drive the technology strategy in alignment with business goals, and ensure its execution.
• Solution Design: Create high-level solution designs and conduct architectural reviews. Ensure scalable and robust architecture that meets business and technical requirements.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Documentation: Maintain architectural documentation, technical specifications, and guidelines ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce development and architectural standards, ensuring consistency in design and implementation.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Project Oversight: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery while mitigating risks and resolving issues.
• Innovation: Drive innovation by exploring new and emerging technologies, continually improving the company’s technical landscape.

Key Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical architecture role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern architectural patterns, frameworks, and technologies, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API design, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Programming Languages: Expertise in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.
• Architectural Frameworks: Experience with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architectural frameworks.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to provide sound decision-making.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
