Senior Oracle CPQ Architect

12+ Years (with at least 8–10+ Years in Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations)

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle CPQ Architect with 12+ years of expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-grade CPQ solutions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical and functional command over Oracle CPQ, with the ability to assess existing implementations, recommend improvements, and architect scalable, high-performance solutions aligned to customer needs. Candidate must have relevant experience of 12 to 15 Years.

• Architect end-to-end Oracle CPQ solutions based on complex customer requirements.
• Define solution blueprint, configuration approach, data model, pricing architecture, rules framework, and integration patterns.
• Assess current CPQ deployments, identify gaps, performance issues, technical debt, and design weaknesses.
• Recommend redesign, optimization, and modernization strategies.
• Conduct workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable CPQ design specifications.
• Present architecture and design recommendations to customers.
• Oversee configuration of pricing, product configuration, quoting flows, commerce process, BOM/Items, advanced rules, and UI/UX design in CPQ.
• Guide development of Extensions, BML, advanced validation rules, workflows, and integrations.
• Ensure adherence to CPQ best practices, performance standards, and governance processes.
• Design and govern integrations between CPQ and systems such as Oracle Order Management Cloud, CRM/Sales Cloud, Oracle EBS, SFDC, and Subscription/Maintenance Cloud as needed.
• Define API usage, middleware approach, data mapping, orchestration, and error handling.
• Define test strategy, review unit test scenarios, and support UAT readiness.
• Validate that the implemented solution meets the architecture and business requirements.
• Provide guidance during cut-over, deployment, and stabilization phases.
• Ensure best-practice operationalization of the CPQ solution in production.
• Act as an Architect-Oracle for Oracle CX - Oracle CX / CRM - CPQ Functional engagements, ensuring solution alignment with domain standards.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work closely with business and technical teams to drive consensus on CPQ architecture and design decisions.
• Capability to assess and improve existing Oracle CX - Oracle CX / CRM - CPQ Functional implementations from both technical and functional perspectives.
• Proven leadership in guiding cross-functional teams through complex CPQ transformation programs.

• 12+ years of total experience with at least 8–10+ years in Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations.
• Proven experience leading at least one end-to-end large enterprise CPQ implementation as an Architect or Lead.
• Deep hands-on expertise in pricing architecture and pricing rules.
• Strong experience in product configuration and BOM modeling.
• Expertise in quoting workflows and commerce process design.
• Proficiency in BML, XSL, REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience with Extensions, UI customization, and data tables in Oracle CPQ.
• Strong experience integrating CPQ with ERP, CRM, and Order Management platforms.
• Ability to produce architectural documents, technical specifications, and configuration guidelines.
• Experience working in Oracle-Domain and Oracle CX - Oracle CX / CRM - CPQ Functional roles.
• Experience with Oracle CX application ecosystem.
• Experience integrating CPQ with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) (nice to have).
• Understanding of Subscription, OM, and Asset-based ordering processes.
