JD for  Sr (5 + yr) & JR (2yr + ) TECHNICAL WRITER, YOU WILL:

  • Analyze, test, and write instructions to support the RTMS Product
  • Help others make sense of what is relevant and what is unimportant when making sense of complex situations.
  • Foster a creative atmosphere and work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Marketing to effectively support the development and test needs of the software. Participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives and share a passion for problem solving. 
  • Provide cohesion and understanding for developers and testers on your team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Possess a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency and experience writing technical documentation
  • Interest in hands-on installation, configuration, and use of the software to further develop product understanding
  • Exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate good communication skills

 

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Experience with modular documentation (for example, DITA XML) and component content     

       management systems

  • Microsoft Office with mastery of Word
  • Desire to seek continuous improvements and innovation
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated internships in technical writing/information development
