Job Summary

Senior Consultant - Oracle responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS technical solutions within the Hyperion (EPM) and Oracle Fusion Cloud landscape. Candidate must have relevant experience of 5 to 9 Years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS technical solutions aligned with client business and financial planning requirements.
• Configure and customize Hyperion (EPM) applications, including metadata, forms, business rules, and calculation scripts for planning and forecasting.
• Integrate Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS with Oracle Fusion Cloud and other source systems using appropriate integration tools and methods.
• Perform technical analysis, solution design, and impact assessment for enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Develop and optimize data loads, data mappings, and automation processes for planning and reporting cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to performance, data integrity, security, and integrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, finance stakeholders, and IT teams to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, and deployment guides for implemented solutions.
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) by preparing test scenarios, resolving defects, and ensuring solution stability.
• Provide post-go-live support, performance tuning, and continuous improvement recommendations for Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS environments.
• Adhere to development standards, governance, and best practices for Oracle EPM and Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
• Mentor junior team members on Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS technical concepts and development practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Hyperion (EPM) with a primary focus on Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS (Technical).
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS, including forms, rules, calculations, security, and data management.
• Experience integrating Oracle Planning/PBCS/ePBCS with Oracle Fusion Cloud and other enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and data integration tools commonly used with Oracle EPM (e.g., EPM Automate, REST APIs, ODI or similar).
• Good understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting in Oracle EPM environments.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, version control, and deployment practices for enterprise applications.
• Relevant Oracle EPM or Oracle Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
