Job Summary

Senior functional consultant leading finance tracks independently, owning solution design, stakeholder engagement, and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end implementation or support of Oracle Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, Intercompany, Tax
Own requirement gathering, solution design, and functional governance
Drive CRP, UAT, SIT cycles with minimal supervision
Mentor G4 consultants and review deliverables
Work closely with business, technical teams, and PMO
Handle complex business scenarios and accounting requirements
Support month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
Ensure adherence to best practices, internal controls, and compliance standards across all finance processes
Prepare and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and end-user training materials
Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements, data migration strategies, and reporting needs
Provide post-implementation support, including issue analysis, defect resolution, and continuous process improvements
Contribute to solution demos and proposal support for new opportunities, showcasing Oracle Finance capabilities

Qualifications and Skills

4-8 years of Oracle Finance experience (Fusion)
Strong accounting knowledge and business acumen
Proven experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations
Ability to translate business needs into Oracle solutions
Client-facing experience is mandatory
Hands-on experience configuring core Oracle Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, Intercompany, Tax)
Experience in conducting CRP, UAT, and SIT, including test planning, execution, and defect management
Good understanding of finance process design, internal controls, and statutory/compliance requirements
Exposure to integration, data migration, and reporting aspects within Oracle Finance implementations
