The DevOps Engineer / DevOps Developer will be responsible for getting releases into production cleanly and handing them over to Cognizant, which supports only what is deployed and formally transitioned. The role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing environments and cloud infrastructure, supporting an AWS-to-Azure migration, and ensuring security, compliance, monitoring and operational readiness for production applications. Candidate must have relevant experience of 3 to 6 Years.

• Get releases into production cleanly and hand them over to Cognizant, which supports only what is deployed and formally transitioned.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend, backend and database changes.
• Manage development, test and production environments, including configuration and secrets.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure, preferably as code.
• Support the planned AWS-to-Azure migration of the application.
• Apply security and compliance controls, including access management, vulnerability scanning and audit readiness.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting for production and non-production environments.
• Prepare runbooks and deployment documentation, and lead production handover to Cognizant.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure smooth, reliable and repeatable deployments for Node.js, React and Snowflake-related changes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to plan, schedule and execute releases with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, automation and tooling across the lifecycle.
• Ensure that all changes are properly documented, version-controlled and traceable for audit and compliance purposes.

• Strong collaboration skills to work with application development, data engineering and operations teams.
• Ability to translate release and operational requirements into robust automation and infrastructure solutions.
• Attention to detail in documenting deployment steps, runbooks and transition materials for Cognizant support teams.
• Proactive mindset towards reliability, scalability, performance and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel releases and changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation-first approaches for repetitive tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding release status, risks and mitigations.

• 6+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure; migration experience between cloud providers is a strong plus.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience with containers using Docker, and Kubernetes or managed container services.
• Experience deploying Node.js and React applications; Snowflake deployment or change management is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance practices for production applications, including access control, vulnerability management and audit readiness.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (technical) for pipelines, repositories and release management.
• Familiarity with Data Automation & AI-related workloads and their deployment considerations is a plus.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging and alerting tools and practices in cloud environments.
• Experience managing configuration and secrets securely across multiple environments.
• Good understanding of release management processes, including formal transition and handover to support teams.
