Job SummaryThe Consultant - Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud (Time and Labor) will be responsible for delivering functional consulting services focused on Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) within Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design and configure OTL solutions, support end-to-end implementations, and provide ongoing enhancements and production support. Candidate must have relevant experience of 5 to 9 Years.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud Time and Labor (OTL).
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) solutions aligned with business processes and compliance requirements.
- Configure time entry layouts, time card rules, time and labor policies, work schedules, and related OTL components.
- Integrate OTL with other Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud modules such as Absence Management, Payroll, and Core HR.
- Participate in full lifecycle implementations, including fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test scripts for unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing related to OTL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in Oracle Time and Labor, working with technical teams where necessary.
- Support data migration, data validation, and reconciliation activities for OTL-related data.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, user guides, and training materials for OTL processes.
- Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer on OTL functionality and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and integrated HCM processes across modules.
- Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize usage of Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud OTL.
- Stay updated on Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud releases, new features, and OTL-related updates, and assess their impact on existing solutions.
- Support production operations by monitoring OTL processes, handling incidents, and managing change requests.
- Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, audit requirements, and local labor regulations where applicable.
- Strong domain understanding of HCM processes, particularly time and attendance, workforce management, and payroll-related time capture.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical Oracle OTL configurations and solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication skills to work with business users, functional teams, and technical teams in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global, distributed team, managing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working in multicultural environments and supporting international stakeholders.
- Flexibility to support different time zones and project phases when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud with a strong focus on Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) as a functional consultant.
- Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Time and Labor components, including time card layouts, rules, time categories, and work schedules.
- Experience integrating OTL with Payroll, Absence Management, and other HCM modules.
- Familiarity with Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in preparing functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test documentation.
- Exposure to reporting and analytics related to time and labor data is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud (where available) will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is beneficial.
