The Process Mining Expert articulates the current state of the client's software delivery lifecycle, which serves as the basis for redesigning it around AI.
This role mines, captures, and documents existing SDLC processes so the Architect can design the AI-driven target state accurately and the team can prioritize the correct areas for automation.
The role requires strong SDLC knowledge together with an understanding of where AI can be applied effectively.
Candidate must have relevant experience of 7 to 10 Years.

• Elicit current-state SDLC workflows through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing tooling and artifacts.
• Capture process flows, hand-offs, decision points, and exceptions in clear, structured documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and AI-automation opportunities across the delivery pipeline.
• Apply process-mining techniques to system logs and tooling data to reconstruct actual (not idealized) process behavior.
• Produce the reference documentation the whole team relies on.
• Partner with the AI Architect on target-state design and the Program Manager on process risks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams to leverage DataBricks and related tooling for process data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
• Work closely with Sr. Developers and Sr. DevOps engineers to integrate process-mining insights into CI/CD pipelines and SDLC tooling.
• Ensure that identified AI and automation opportunities are translated into actionable backlog items and technical requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring process performance metrics and recommending enhancements.

• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including AI Architects, Program Managers, Developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in complex, data-driven environments and adapt to evolving AI and automation technologies.
• Strong communication skills to present process findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle complex, messy process data and convert it into clear, usable artifacts.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivery excellence and continuous improvement.

• 7 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, process engineering, or delivery consulting, with hands-on process-mining exposure.
• Strong familiarity with SDLC, QA, and DevOps workflows and their supporting tools.
• Ability to spot where AI and automation can improve a delivery process.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, making complex, messy processes clear and usable.
• Comfortable interviewing technical and business stakeholders and synthesizing conflicting inputs.
• Experience working with Data Automation & AI solutions in the context of software delivery and process optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Data Engineering - Data Analytics - DataBricks (Technical) for process data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Proficiency with process-mining tools such as Celonis (or comparable) and process-mapping tooling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with BPMN 2.0 process notation for modeling workflows.
• Familiarity with SDLC tooling as data sources, including Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Celonis certifications (Data Analyst / Business Analyst) are good to have.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification is good to have.
• OMG-Certified Expert in BPM (OCEB 2) certification is good to have.
