Job Summary

The Oracle CX Technical Architect will lead end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle CX Cloud implementations, ensuring scalable, integrated CX solutions across Sales, Service, CPQ, Subscription, Marketing, and Field Service. The role will act as a technical authority, solution architect, and client advisor for CX transformation programs, driving architecture governance, integration strategy, and best practices across complex enterprise ecosystems. Candidate must have relevant experience of 12 to 15 Years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle CX Cloud implementations.
• Design scalable, integrated CX solutions across Sales, Service, CPQ, Subscription, Marketing, and Field Service.
• Act as technical authority, solution architect, and client advisor for CX transformation programs.

Architecture & Solution Design
• Define end-to-end architecture blueprint covering application, integration, data, and security.
• Architect Lead-to-Cash and Service (Request-to-Resolution) solution flows.
• Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal CX solution approaches.
• Prepare and review Solution Design Documents (SDD) and technical specifications.

Integration & Technical Architecture
• Design integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven/microservices architecture.
• Enable seamless integration across CX, ERP, SCM, and third-party systems.
• Define reusable integration frameworks and patterns to standardize and accelerate delivery.

Extensions & Customization
• Lead extensions using VBCS and Redwood UX.
• Utilize Groovy scripting and Application Composer for tailored CX solutions.
• Define customization versus configuration strategy to balance flexibility and maintainability.
• Ensure scalable, upgrade-safe solution design aligned with Oracle best practices.

Technical Leadership & Delivery
• Provide architecture governance and conduct design reviews across the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead technical teams across design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
• Review code, integrations, and implementation quality to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and reusable assets across projects.

Requirement Analysis & Consulting
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs).
• Translate business requirements into robust technical architecture and solution designs.
• Engage with stakeholders to align CX solutions with business goals and value drivers.

Performance, Security & Risk Management
• Design for high availability, performance, and scalability of CX applications and integrations.
• Address security requirements including IAM, data privacy, and compliance.
• Define monitoring and observability approaches for proactive issue detection.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies and guardrails.

Presales & Client Engagement
• Support solutioning, proposals, and technical presentations for CX opportunities.
• Deliver POCs, demos, and architecture walkthroughs to showcase solution capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor for CX transformation initiatives and roadmap definition.

• Delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade CX architecture.
• Successful integration across complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Improved system performance, stability, and user adoption.
• Creation of reusable architecture frameworks and reduction of technical debt.

• Exposure to AI / GenAI use cases in CX is an added advantage.
• Experience with Redwood UX adoption and transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of industry solutions in Manufacturing, Public Sector, BFSI, or Healthcare.

Qualifications and Skills

Core Technical Skills
• Expertise in Oracle CX Cloud modules including Sales, Service, CPQ, Marketing, and Subscription.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proficiency in APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware-based integrations.
• Experience with VBCS and Redwood for building CX extensions and custom UIs.
• Experience in data migration and data modeling for CX implementations.
• Experience in CX–ERP and CX–SCM integrations across enterprise landscapes.

Architecture & Domain Skills
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns and integration design principles.
• Deep understanding of CX business processes such as Lead-to-Cash and Service lifecycle.
• Ability to define and govern architecture standards, patterns, and reference models.

Soft Skills
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in Oracle CX.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect in Oracle CX programs.
• Experience in multiple end-to-end CX implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (Oracle certifications preferred).
• Strong functional and technical exposure across the CX lifecycle.
